About Me
Hello! My name is Asia (yes, London is my real middle name) and I'm a trilingual journalist from Rome, Italy. I love reading and writing about anything to do with history and travel (but also food, art, culture, the environment, and just about anything else). I've been lucky to visit some 30 countries, and even luckier to visit many many of these countries more than once.
Because I have so many interests, my work covers a pretty wide array of topics. I'm a generalist, in some ways. If I find it interesting, I'll try to find some way to cover it. The common thread with my work is that I'm drawn to the unexpected and the overlooked, stories that really make you sit and think.
I've worked as an updates writer at Travel + Leisure, an assistant editor at Business Insider, and have experience copywriting and creating social content.I obtained my master’s degree in magazine journalism and digital storytelling at New York University (NYU) in December 2022. In May 2020, I graduated Magna Cum Laude from Northeastern University (Boston, Massachusetts) with a BA in journalism and history.
